I am a driven and motivated individual with a love for great design and all things creative. I thrive well in a team with like-minded people and enjoy finding my flow working solo. From a young age, I have been passionate about design, from early years at school in art and photography classes to continuing my studies at college, where I took a Film & Media Production course, achieving my level 3 diploma. In between college and university, I took a year out to make it in the design world on a different route other than university. I worked as a trainee designer for the leading road-signs manufacturers in the south of England. Having trialled this path for a while, I realised it was time to further my education and learn more processes and programs, and decided to go to university to do so. I have recently finished working towards my BA (Hons) Digital Media Design Degree. I have built an online portfolio for my work, ranging from graphic logos and business designs to more complex interactive videos. I have a varied creative background but have a real passion for creating audiovisual generative art. Please feel free to take a look: https://www.genesutton.co.uk/. I am proficient in various programs, as listed on my CV, including the Adobe Creative Suite. I have an excellent eye for detail and love to create aesthetically pleasing designs and websites. This medium has evolved from a hobby to a passion for how I would like to spend my career. Having grown up in foster care, I learned to express myself personally through design. I am a hard worker with humble beginnings and am grateful to have been allowed to expand my interests into a genuine career.
