Apple - Hardware Test EngineerAs part of AppleCare's EFFA team, responsible for setting up, qualifying and maintaining hardware test stations across Apple’s hardware product line, as well as training and support station operator teams for Failure Analysis campaigns.Collaborate with internal development, production and failure analysis teams, as well as vendors to identify and address issues both during station bringup and ongoing operations.

Assess all IT needs for BFH, create options for presentation to owners along with recommendations, then purchase and/or code, install and train all personnel in use of hardware and software. Responsible for supporting both employee users and patient users, including 24/7 remote support, both as initial contact or contact of last resort depending on system. Responsible for liaising with outside vendors. Managed development of in house EMR from 1998-2010, and then worked with vendors to implement successive EMR transitions and rollouts - including hardware deployment, interface setup/creation, records transfer and staff training. Created inhouse records retrieval system to support legacy EMR documents (using Django). Other responsibilities HIPAA privacy officer, and running cost benefit analyses of current and potential systems, including network/telcom infrastructure, laboratory and medical records systems,

Analyzing current operations and identifying areas for improvement and expansion, and then taking those and creating implementation plans with cost-benefit outlines, timelines for presentation to company leadership. Managed all aspects of transition to a concierge model practice, and the sale and transfer of that practice upon the lead physician's retirement. Currently transitioning company to a medical records storage and retreival operation after sale of active clinic operations.

Responsible for managing clinic's participation as a site in clinical research studies, including Phase IV trials for pharmaceuticals. Responsible for liaising with study managers and all aspects of site operations, including overseeing enrollment, site personnel training, regulatory compliance, procedure design, as well as records intake, reporting and retention. Worked with on-site physicians and laboratory personnel to coordinate exams, phlebotomy sampling/transport, and on-site testing where applicable.

Worked in a CLIA/COLA regulated medium complexity lab, operating under supervision of laboratory director to create and oversee implementation of laboratory policies and procedures, evaluate laboratory equipment and tests for efficacy, patient need and profitability. Train and evaluate testing personnel. Design & implement QC and QA procedures for all laboratory systems. Liase with regulatory agencies, vendors and other medical facilities. Operate and support all analyzers and LIS systems.

First point of contact for all tenants, show suites to potential tenants, create and update leases, liase with maintenance personnel and outside vendors (architects, HVAC, security etc) to coordinate repairs and improvements, meet with city regulatory personnel and prepare reports for same. When market conditions and owners desire to retire indicated the right time for them to exit, I contacted and worked with a real estate broker to prepare building for sale, identify and negotiate with potential buyers,. I brought neighboring property owners on board for multiparcel sale while negotiating with current tenants and buyers to ensure the sale of a fully-rented out building during the pandemic.
