Gene Craciun, AIF, C(k)PPartner Gene is a partner at OnPoint Wealth Partners and has been in the financial services business since 1995. His efforts are focused primarily on serving the corporate retirement plan marketplace and working with their respective employees. Gene finds great fulfillment in helping people with what many feel are the very difficult and daunting topics of retirement plans and retirement planning. Serving and educating clients is very rewarding to Gene and has allowed him to build many long-standing relationships over the years.His goal for each client is to create a customized plan that fits their unique needs and situation. He wants them to have a good foundation of knowledge about their plan and for their participants to have the opportunity to “retire their way.”As a Certified 401(k) Professional, Gene is highly experienced in creating, implementing and maintaining retirement plans for businesses, including defined contribution plans, 401(k) plans, nonprofit and pension plans. He is knowledgeable in plan distributions, plan design and implementation, plan establishment and operation, and fiduciary issues.Gene is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary that certifies he can ethically carry out a fiduciary standard of care and serve the best interests of his clients. He adheres to the standards of professional conduct and devotes himself to continuing industry education.Gene began working in the retirement plan space with a regional bank in 1995. His background in administration, compliance and plan design has served as his foundational base for his consultative practice. Gene earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton in 1994. Gene currently holds his Series 7 and 63 licenses and Life, Health, Annuity and Property/Casualty licenses. Additionally, he has attained his Business Succession Planning certificate and works with many small businesses to ensure their needs are being met.Originally from Timisoura, Romania, Gene lives in Ohio City with his family. Gene spends his free time enjoying traveling and supporting local sporting teams. Specially, he is passionate about soccer and is actively involved with a local soccer academy and serves on their board.
