Gene Jennett served in the U.S. Navy as a Corpsman and studied neurophysiology at Naval School of Health Sciences and Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences. After leaving the Navy, he worked in the Clinical Electroneurophysiology Lab at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in La Jolla, CA, then took a position as Manager of the Neurology Division, neurophysiology, and non-invasive vascular laboratories at Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation in La Jolla, CA. He subsequently worked as a consultant, providing clinical neurophysiological testing services to neurology groups and community hospitals in north San Diego county. He has been with Wounded Warrior Homes since 2012, developing it from its infancy, moving from the early fundraising stage to implementation of program services and developing the administration and infrastructure of the organization
