I consulted on two video game projects for WGBH: (1) the Martha Speaks Dog Party! app for iPhone, and (2) a transmedia project tying together a TV show and a video game to teach an environmental curriculum.

Investigate impact of technology and the Internet on legal education and professional development. Research video games and their potential role in strengthening moral, ethical, civic values.

I co-founded Hub2, which pioneered a new approach to civic engagement, bringing together developers, residents of Allston MA and other stakeholders in the design of a 1-acre park. The project used 3D virtual world technology to help ordinary people participate in sophisticated urban design. The project evolved into "Participatory Chinatown" and won a MacArthur grant in 2009.
