Also developed several non-polluting extended-zinc pigment formulations and manufacturing processes using by-products from existing contaminated sites. Many ideas and new products came to me in "vivid dreams". Few people will understand that, but those that do will certainly understand!!

Those guys were brilliant!! My name is on 6 of their patents, even though I was just a "tech"!!! They worked me to death, but it was always fun and incredibly interesting to be around such brilliant DuPont innovators. "Better things for Better living...though Chemistry" was our slogan, and these guys and DuPont were the BEST! One of the most rewarding experiences of my life! -

Just A Kid Looking To Make Some Money!Usa Self Employed 1957 - 1968You name it I did it. I was a "Paperboy" for 4-years as a kid. I worked in a "Pickle Factory" for 2-summers when I was 17 and 18 years old; supervising 8-10 workers (given the crop production and weather conditions) because I was the only one in town who spoke a "little" Spanish. I worked for neighbors doing everything from cleaning and mowing yards, building fences, hauling trash, shoveling snow, raking leaves, cleaning garages, caring for animals, house-sitting, repairing boats and docks, catching frogs and turtles, building split-rail fences, maintaining gardens, or selling fruits and vegetables; while spending time in the woods with my microscope studying the incredible world in my backyard and the lakes and streams around my home....you name it...I did it. As a kid, I was fortunate to have grown up in the "country" and I always had a few dollars in my pocket and savings account....even when my friends didn't!!!
