I'm currently in charge of content and education for Everplans, a technology company revolutionizing the way people get their affairs in order. My focus is on generating engaging content and experiences to help demystify and shed new light on topics that are traditionally considered dreaded, dark, or extremely boring (legal docs, medical directives, password management, funerals). I also co-authored a book with my bosses called "In Case You Get Hit By A Bus," which is everything in your life you need to get organized in case, well, you get hit by a bus.In the past I served as the GM of Thrillist.com, where I oversaw mobile/Web editorial content and direction. I've done two tours in Maxim's digital department as Editor-in-Chief and Digital Editorial Director, and I was Editorial Director for Hachette Filipacchi's Digital division, where I oversaw content direction and implementation for their online properties.During my 20+ years in the media industry I've written for a variety of consumer and trade publications/Websites, performed a weekly Internet/tech-based radio segment on a Philly radio station for four years, appeared as an "expert" in a few A&E Biographies (Chevy Chase's was the highlight) and am a graduate of NYU journalism school.
