During the transition to Agile, I helped create the process, set up Scrum boards, establish the meetings, and train the teams. We started with sprint planning, did sprint demos, had daily standups, and ended sprints with retrospectives. As Agile rolled out to the whole company, we allowed teams to choose between Scrum or Kanban depending on their needs.As a lead, I developed customer-facing sites for Investools, TD Ameritrade, and TD Institutional. I lead the development of dozens of new applications including, a content creator like a CMS, Market 360, Educational course creation and web player, check deposit software, and a lead for the rewrite and development of Veo One. Veo One was an application that centralized dozens of application data via APIs into a module-based customizable dashboard. We used Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, Sass, Node on Veo One, and jade, jeet, rupture, stylus, and full-stack JavaScript on marketing sites. Besides coding, I did code reviews, ran Agile/Scrum meetings, mentored developers, wrote/ran training on new coding concepts and languages, worked with leads in UX, Java devs, QA, and ran demos for product owners. -
