While I've recently got into the entertainment labor union to understand and learn more about what goes on behind the scenes of such industries , my real passion is making music . I am an independent artist , i sing and song write R&B which I hope will someday be how I make a living . I've been in a group , I've ben signed but now im trying things my own way . So for now As a stagehand we assist on sets , from live venues to film, or theater even TV. We help with various things from lighting , sound , props, and general scenery . Stagehands also set up equipment and help performers get into costume . Duties vary just depends on the type of production .
