Business and management has always been my passion. I started studying accounting, but I've been interested in administrative positions all along.A few years ago, I had the opportunity to start my first management position at IPS. Working with a small, but talented team in meeting company goals was something I truly enjoyed doing. This role required many skills, but the most relevant I would say were strategic planning and critical thinking. I gained plenty of knowledge filled with valuable lessons learned.Working at Ivy Tech Community College has been a great experience in my professional career. Helping students connect with the right department and letting them know they can trust the institution to reach their goals is extremely rewarding. As a student, I was able to understand and empathize with other students' needs, and as an employee of the CCEC department, I've acquired plenty of knowledge of the different resources students can utilize to reach their career goals. I've had the opportunity to perform administrative duties in this position as well, helping prepare materials for events such as Career Fairs and OCR's while coming up with ideas to improve employee training. I was privileged to be part of this amazing team.
