About Me: My name is Genesis Brito and I am an upcoming senior at Instituto Health Sciences Career Academy. Friends and family would describe me as an independent, outgoing, and hard working leader who enjoys helping others and learning new things. I consider this to be true but I am also very observant and quiet at times. Before Instituto, I was attending Prosser Career Academy which is a more developed high school than Instituto. I basically got a feel of what it is to be in both a big and small high school. At Instituto my schedule is the same as any other student. I wasn't really involved in anything my junior year because I've been employed since I was 16 years old. This past year and a half has consisted of school and work basically. Even though i work, I always stay dedicated to school. Although it can become challenging at times, i try my best to work through it and finish what i need to get done. At school I've always been able to exceed in math and science. This is why my main interests as careers are medicine or engineering. I not only enjoy the science and problem solving in things but I also love working with people. Being able to help someone in need has always been something important for me. For my senior year, I hope to be able to give it my all and finish at the top of my class. I know Launch U will be there to support and guide me towards my success.
