About Genesiss Hollins

When I encounter a closed door, I make it my mission to swing it open and prop it to ensure that those coming after me won’t face the burden of being door openers themselves. The previous statement resonates deeply with me becauseI have always been an advocate at heart. I prioritize creating inclusive spaces wherever I work. I value equity, responsibility, and empathy. Currently, I hold positions as the State Conference President of the Georgia NAACP Youth and College Division, co-chair of the Education Committee for the Spelman NAACP, Ford First Generation Scholar, and member of the Spelman Georgia Aspiring Educators. Over the next 4-6 years, I hope to earn a Master’s in counseling psychology and advocate for mental wellness amongst youth of color.
