Consulting with eight school districts and their local associations

As an English Language Arts teacher, I taught all grades of high school English, as well as U.S. History, Geography, and Histories and Comedies of Shakespeare.Communication with students and their families was key in forming relationships with my students. Collaborating with colleagues through the Professional Learning Communities (PLC)structure was instrumental in forming unit plans that would work for all learners. I used a Learning Management System (Schoology) to encapsulate my unit plans and assignments.As the lead PLC for English IV and as the English department chair, I scheduled classes, and at times mediated between educators, and encouraged their growth in the profession.As the president of the local union, I met with the superintendent of schools about concerns and facilitated meetings with the members.I used Microsoft 365 Suite, as well as Adobe, Zoom, Teams, and Canva.
