Life Of Various Entertainment (LOVE) is a nonprofit organization committed to paying tribute and giving public recognition to musical artist and providing a venue for inspiration, education, networking, mentoring and public exposure for the artists, children, and neighbors of the Detroit area and worldwide. Love was founded in 2005 by its current CEO Geneva Powers and her Parents, Edward Burkes and Helen Powers, around the idea that artist should be given there flowers while they are alive rather than after they are gone. LOVE's motto is "flowers while they are still alive." LOVE's Annual Musicians' Reunion is always held the third Tuesday of July. This years 9th Annual event is sceduled for July 16, 2013, the reunion gathers national and local artist aswel as music lovers from all walks of life to celebrate and showcase the artists in a festival of live entertainment, good food, emotional support, educational and career networking. The event serves to connect musical artist and aspiring young musicians with mentors. Our Annual Musicians' Reunion is widely praised and recognized. We are grateful to be of service.
