I am an Accounting Major at Utah Tech University. I have a 3.89 GPA and I'm starting my Junior year. If I were to describe myself in five attributes, I would say I am purposeful, dedicated, good at critical thinking, detail-oriented, and kind. To expound, I'm purposeful because every decision I make is well thought out and leads to something greater. I strive to think about the consequences when I'm faced with making a decision and purposefully consider how these decisions will help me reach my goals/help fulfil the mission of the company I work for. I show dedication by giving my all in my responsibilities and goals. I have done well in school because I'm dedicated to do what it takes to master the material. This same dedication is exercised in my professional work efforts and my personal life. I have a new passion for running half-marathons and soon full marathons. I have to be dedicated to training daily and eating healthy in order to be prepared to dominate in these big races. I exercise critical thinking by always trying to find ways to do my tasks (in my everyday life and at work) more efficiently. When problems arise I strive to see all sides of a situation and then make the most ethical decision based on the information I collected. I will go the lengths necessary to analyze a situation in order to achieve the best outcome for a customer. I am detail oriented which is crucial in the accounting field. This attribute also helps me be organized in the work I perform. And lastly, I would describe myself as kind. I truly care about the people that surround me, whether it be at work, school, home, etc. One of my core values is that kindness can help solve many of life's disagreements. To know me is to know that I will always strive to show kindness to all.
