Driven by a love of community and a passion for excellent customer service, I have experience in legal services, retail, and childcare. Throughout my work history, I have shown exemplary attention to detail--through calendaring appointments for multiple attorneys, precisely fitting foundational undergarments, preparing cash bags, and getting a kindergartener to ballet on time. I bring great energy and enthusiasm to interpersonal communication, with sensitivity to grief, disability, and oppression that others may be experiencing. While being a client correspondent at The Advocates and a fitter at The Pencil Test, I was empathetic and understanding to the pain, shame, and upheaval that came with injuries or changing bodies. As a queer woman in the workforce, I am passionate about equity and inclusion; as a white person, I understand the necessity to uplift voices more marginalized than my own. I look for employment that enables me to help others meaningfully in arenas I care about--queerness, women's and family rights, the arts, animals, and literacy--while also offering a work-life balance and fun office culture. As my community shifts from Portland to Seattle, I am excited about what the future brings!
