Being a nurse is a amazing career it helped me to grow in to a compassionate and kind person . I have so much medical knowledge I am able to give the right care needed to help others. I learned how to listen and communicate well with people. I can work under any kind of situation that comes up . I have a lot of empathy for their pain and suffering for the patient and their families. I work very long days and at times well into the next day .I have to be quick on my feet and be able to left heavy objects and people. Also be able to stand for long periods at a time. So I have to stay healthy and fit along with being responsible and flexible. I pay strict attention to detail cause thiers no room for a mistake even the slightest bit of a mistake can mean life or death for a person . I always have to stay focused. I need to be calm and not break under pressure and be respectful to everyone at all times. I get a personal satisfaction out of being a nurse.
