I am a Senior attending Central Michigan University pursuing an undergraduate degree in Interior Design. As a future interior designer, I will create convenient, sustainable, and comfortable living spaces. I am a diligent, organized, and detail-oriented person. I am a hardworking student who strives for success inside and outside of the classroom. I have gained leadership skills through volunteering at Central Michigan University's Leadership Safari Conference. In my position, I help to welcome incoming Freshmen onto our campus by creating a welcoming, exciting, and inclusive enviornment throughout the entirety of the conference. I was an E-Board member of my resident hall's Community Council, as the sustainability advocate. In this role, I helped to educate my community on sustainability, as well as lead a voluntary group of students in a recycling program, called Green Teams. I have also gained many essential skills while working as a cashier in customer service. I havelearned how to answer customers' questions, work cooperatively with coworkers, and assist in resolving conflict. I enjoy helping and teaching others. It is rewarding to see others succeed. I have experienced this specific skill while working as a gymnastics coach. Coaching has taught me different ways to communicate through hands-on experience and demonstration. It also taught me how to work with children as well as parents.
