Propel's mission is to transform America’s talent pipeline by partnering with HBCUs and leading technology-focused employers. The organization was funded by Apple and Southern Company.For six months I served as a consultant and CEO, focusing on building the program model, executive team and infrastructure necessary to operationalize Propel.

Honors Pathway enabled first generation college students who are college-bound but not yet college-ready to attend their first year of college for free while receiving hundreds of hours of mentoring and tutoring.

In fall 2016 I re-joined UniversityNow. My team grew enrollment, further developed the platform and negotiated it's successful sale to the National University System in April 2018. UNow’s learning platform is being used by two postsecondary university networks to offer affordable, self-paced degree programs to several hundred thousand working adults, reducing their tuition by hundreds of millions of dollars annually.

OneUni enabled students to earn college degrees using their mobile devices.

UniversityNow's mission was to expand access to higher education while lowering its cost. UNow developed an innovative self-paced learning platform designed to lower significantly the cost of offering online degree programs. Unow was the corporate parent of two accredited US universities.

Platform Learning provided after school tutoring services to low-income students under the federal No Child Left Behind law. Its enrollment gew to over 50,000 students in 500+ US public schools.

Led Edison's new school development efforts. Secured new contracts to manage 20 public schools serving over 13,000 students.
