Current▸ Discover and implement new technology platforms that include web application frameworks and deployment stack to accelerate services that yield competitive advantage▸ Lead cross-functional collaboration with key department leaders overseeing 300+ to define and execute technology roadmap that enable cloud solutions and delivery highly scalable efficient services▸ Develop and manage web standards by selecting internal staff or outsourced vendors in developing web pages that create consistency of user experience▸ Review technical aspects for the selected web framework and establish the initial architecture for the application to ensure alignment with business requirements▸ Orchestrate software development process, setting short-term objectives, and assessing progress as defined by the selected software development methodology▸ Supervise recruitment, training, retention, and organization of all development staff according to the company hiring process, personnel policies, and budget requirements▸ Implement and maintain performance metrics for staff and vendors; monitor service level agreements▸ Monitor latest technological trends in the marketplace contributing to open source software development, technologies standardization, and best practices by releasing code, conference presentations, and publication writing
