1. Develop overall sourcing/supply strategy & matrix for key battery materials;2. Identify as many competitor suppliers in each category as possible for comparison and consideration;3. Develop and maintain a catalogue of potential suppliers by material captures all critical factors, including key contacts, current customers, capacities/assets, future investment, current financial situation, key alliances, risks, likelihood of a successful qualification (initial assessment), etc.;4. Develop business cases for alternate suppliers of each critical material;5. Develop standard work to maintain an evergreen supplier directory going forward;6. Support Team to identify and execute product and raw materials localization projects; Continuously increase the local sourcing rate;7. Follow the global sourcing procedure, seek and develop suppliers then work with Quality team to qualify suppliers, coordinate the trial among the different parties to implement the conversion successfully;8. Assist and accompany internal stakeholders’ supplier visits in China upon request;9. Regularly visit and audit suppliers to ensure the well compliance of all ENR regulations and maintain supply base;10. Regularly survey market to know update on industry and material supply trend as well as price, i.e. market intelligence;11. Surety of supply to affiliates – SQDC & sustainability as well for accountable materials/suppliers;12. Solid support and provide necessary guide/coach to plant purchasing activities.
