I am a Portuguese nurse, recently graduated with distinction. During my education and while carrying out my clinical internships, I was able to develop a set of scientific knowledge, technical competences and relational skills that allow me to care for people, ensuring the quality of care, with a professional practice oriented to the client and family. I have 2-years’ experience in accident and emergency, 1-year experience in follow-up consultation in two locations and have been able to continue to grow as a professional and work in a multidisciplinary team, which has allowed me to grow not only as a person, but also as a nurse. I have recently completed a post-graduate programme in critical patients, where I’ve been fairly successful, even having the opportunity of applying the knowledge learnt in my current professional practice. I think of myself as being motivated, eager to meet with the challenges and objectives I want to achieve, with creativity and sense of initiative. I am a committed person, who welcomes challenges and accepts opportunities that allow me to learn and improve my competences. I also think I have the ability to work in a multidisciplinary and inter-assist team. Ability to provide exceptional care to different types of patients, with a special passion for critical patient care. I’m ambitious and I want to go as high in my career as possible. That is why I am looking for an opportunity to work in the U.K. I think it will be a good choice for my career and will give me the opportunity to grow professionally. The values and experiences that I have acquired during my life have convinced me that, due to United Kingdom’s life quality and interesting culture, this is the right country for me to live and work in.
