Genina Ramirez is not a salesperson.Genina is a problem solver, a matchmaker, and an intentional listener. She spends her days connecting with businesses on a human level — listening to people share their greatest aspirations and devising creative, custom solutions to their business challenges.Originally hailing from Miami, Florida, Genina received a BFA in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art + Design in 2010. A designer by trade and an entrepreneur at heart, she worked in the design + event planning fields for more than ten years at a company she started at her own dining table. In 2017 her passion for design, people, and all things business development led her to Focus Lab, where she eventually took on the role of Chief Growth Officer.In 2024 she joined the incredible team at Metalab, building bridges between prospective partners and Metalab’s talented team of brand and product designers, strategists, and engineers. An avid enthusiast of all things athletic, Genina spends her off hours lifting heavy objects or biking throughout Tucson. You’ll also find her strolling with her husband, Stephen, and their golden lab Olivia, always in search of the perfect taco.
