I am an aspiring individual who thrives in challenges. Leaving Japan for better opportunities in US 7 years ago, I experienced different roles in a large-sized organization from grocery distribution sales, purchasing, vendor management, new business development, business analytics and strategy. Now I am a business analyst at the largest Asian food distributor in the US reporting to the head of sales operations for data analytics and strategic recommendations. Solving problems and simplifying processes give me a sense of fulfillment and an opportunity to learn new skills. My experience in attacking uncertain situations head-on have allowed me to develop skills to involve others for support as well as perseverance to push for success. I was first to attend college in my family in Japan also to study and live abroad. My passion for learning and desire for opportunity now brought me to University of California, Marshall school of business to pursue an MBA. Through my curriculum, I am earning certificates in marketing and business analytics to further refine my business acumen and problem solving skills.
