Oasis Children's Services is a for-profit network of premiere day camps throughout the New York City area. In addition to owning and operating 10 tuition-based day camps, Oasis also runs a number of grant-funded day camps during the summer, as well as a number of after-school programs. Additionally, Oasis also serves the community by organizing a number of school-age holiday programs, parent-pay after-school programs, and by continuing to add both tuition-based and funded camps every summer.- Responsible for Recruiting/Screening/Interviewing/Hiring staff for 13 Day Camps (including: Counselors, Division leaders, Leadership Staff and Camp Directors)- Train and Supervise Seasonal Operations Directors in HR data base and reporting- Train, Supervise, and Manage a Staffing Associate - Responsible for traveling across the U.S. to various college campus to attend Job Fairs - Maintain and Organize the Online Staff Database, Oversee transition from Quickbase Intuit to CampMinder Database - Maintain relationships with Camp Directors and Site Directors across the various day camps and After School programs- Create staff newsletter and organize camp-wide initiatives to build camp culture and increase staff retention.- Organize, review and send contracts and tax forms to all hired staff- Attend to all HR related tasks for the Oasis Children's Services Tuition based programs- Attend American Camp Association events

Greater New York City Area

- Responsible for 190 campers age 6-7- Supervised 40 counselors ages 15-22 and 5 head counselors ages 22+- Communicated with parents and families throughout the summer season- Designed and implemented 3 week pre-camp counselor orientation training- Worked as an administrative assistant in the Camp Office pre-camp- Coordinated daily schedules and programming for special activities in the Unit.

Greater New York City Area

- Administered psycho-educational evaluations to analyze students cognitive and academic achievement levels- Assessments used at this site: KTEA, WJ-III, Sentence Completion, TAT, House-Tree-Person, and SB5- Maintained 4 weekly counseling cases- Collaborated with teachers and other psychologists on school-wide programs and interventions- Trained in SESIS and IEP documentation

Greater New York City Area

- Supervised 15 teenage girls on a teen travel day program- Staffed two- week long trips, one of which was out of the country in Canada- Led pre-camp orientation for campers- Helped the campers with social situations throughout the summer, lead social skills training sessions

plan and organize volunteer events and opportunities for local Jewish teenagers. Answer phones, contact venues, book facilities, hold meetings with the teens to get input on events.
