Established GameRail to accelerate real-time traffic over the Internet through a combination of custom routing technology and a private backbone. Initially applied solution to improve the performance of multiplayer video games.

Midwest ISP providing leading-edge technology solutions. Major projects included a neighborhood FTTP implementation, an IP-based video surveillance service and a hotel-targeted IPTV solution.

Wireless ISP focused on rural broadband delivery. Deployed service in 10 markets in southwest Missouri with the goal of creating a franchisable solution. Sold to River City Internet Group in 2004.

Facilities-based competitive phone company offered bundled voice and data services in 27 US markets and had annual revenues of $195 million in 2001. Major activities included network analysis, cost optimization and technical guidance for key regulatory initiatives.

Founded an early data CLEC originally known as BroadSpan Communications that rolled out DSL service in 5 Midwest states prior to being acquired by Mpower Communications in 2000 for $110 million. My interconnection agreement edits became SBC’s default version. My DSL delivery solution was a Computerworld Honors finalist and is on file at the Smithsonian.

Now a global network and hosting provider, in late 1996 Savvis was a startup with 25 employees known as Diamond.Net. Provisioned key accounts and assisted with network expansion during period of rapid growth.
