I have been a Yoga teacher since 2012. I took my yoga teacher training in India in 2012. My master, Lalit Kumar, was initiated by Swami Veda Bharti the disciple of His Holiness Swami Rama of the Himalayas.My Yoga teaching style blends traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha yoga with Iyengar alignment techniques. I also teach Yin Yoga. I place a strong focus on to physical adjustments to improve alignment through a precise yet dynamic practice.Yoga to me is an important tool to achieve physical and mental wellbeing. It’s more than just exercise. It’s about learning to meditate and concentrate in the present moment. It’s about having healthy eating habits and being kind with ourselves and others. Yoga is about harmony, internally an in our environment.My training in India included Anatomy and Physiology, Ayurveda, Pranayama, Yoga Asana, Meditation, Adjustments, Alignment, Modifications and Yoga philosophy.Furthering my studies, in 2015 I started my Ayurveda Diet and Life Style and Ayurveda Therapies diploma course with Dr Deepa Apté at the Ayurveda Pura academy.

My role as a PR agent for Christie in the Italian market included:• Development and maintenance of a media list for the relevant vertical markets and media relations.• Creation of Case Studies for the territory.• Regionalisation, management of translations and distribution of communication material, including case studies and press releases.• Monthly reports on the territory - including press coverage, research about new application stories from partners and editorial openings in the trade press.• Participation in trade shows - arranging media meetings and meetings with Christie's Italian partners at key industry events.

Impact Europe, a reseller and installer of audiovisual equipment, wanted to get its PR started and for this it tapped into my expertise on the media. After an analysis of the company’s performance, its future plans and positioning within its industry, I drew up a communications plan in collaboration with the marketing manager. This included: press releases to the print and online press, entries to awards and events with clients and partners.During the temporary 3 month contract with the company I achieved vast coverage of case studies and press releases, a special mention on an integrators award and a category win at the AV awards 2009, the AV industry's most prestigious awards. I also worked on internal communications implementing an informal blog-type newsletter, which was very well received by all employees.

AV Magazine is a B2B magazine that covers the audiovisual industry and has a circulation of 30,000. The monthly magazine provides analysis on the AV market, new technology launches and updates on its key players.As assistant editor at AV magazine I gained invaluable experience in feature writing; events and round tables; finding trends and analysing the market. This ever-changing industry is a fertile soil for stories. I have harvested strong relationships at all levels, from manufacturers to installers, resellers and corporate end users.My duties at the magazine included writing and commissioning features for AV and AV Europe. I also updated the website, edited and dispatched AV International, a fortnightly newsletter. AV also had a sister magazine, AV Europe, for which my language skills and extensive travelling was of great advantage
