Although originally designed to target the key failure points within geothermal power plants, the coatings developed have cross sectoral benefits and can potentially be applied to other sectors, such as: glass, paper, Oil & Gas, food & drink, etc. The coatings developed as part of the Geo-Coat project, are believed to exhibit better erosion, corrosion, scaling & fouling (microbial) resistance compared to currently used bulk materials.
