As a civilian contractor, I provide deployment support for ArcGIS mapping application deployment to the Cloud. Responsibilities include map and geoprocessing service management, python and PowerShell scripting to automate cloud deployments, web application builds and deployments, and cloud deployment management and support.

As a civilian contractor, I provided on-site GIS analysis support to the Defense Health Agency TRO-North, Business Operations analysis division. I used ArcMap 10.x to create, update, and manage base maps and Tricare beneficiary and provider data layers and to create maps for Power Point presentations. I used ArcExplorer and ArcReader to create interactive map presentations. I have performed network drive time and route analysis as well and population density analysis. I have created several tools using Model Builder and Python script that allow a user to set up a project and select subsets of data to automatically format and add to a map project. These tools are designed to allow the data analysts to create their own maps without having to have detailed knowledge of the ESRI software.

GIS Team Leader on a contract for the Strength Maintenance Division of the National Guard Bureau. Managed a project involving the design and implementation of Guard Earth, an ESRI ArcExplorer-based web mapping tool for displaying National Guard recruiting and retention data using ArcGIS Server map services and KML code. Also supervised and assisted in the development of web browser demographic mapping applications using the ArcGIS Viewer for Flex. Responsible for tasking of 3 .NET and SQL database programmers, 3 GIS technicians and marketing analysts, and 1 graphic artist. Made decisions on design of applications and communicated regularly with the director of the NGB Strength Maintenance Division on changes made to the system. Daily tasks include data acquisition from multiple sources, data formating and geocoding, map creation using ArcView desktop, data migration to the application, icon editing using Photoshop, software license and user management, and QA/QC review of application and data.

Worked as a contractor for the Recruiting and Retention Branch, Strength Maintenance Division of the Army National Guard. Used Geographic Information System (GIS) software (ArcView 9.x) to plot recruiting and demographic data and to conduct data analysis and create maps (PDF and Power Point slides) for use by the National Guard Bureau and by individual state recruiters. Also prepared and geocoded large amounts of data for use in a private Google Earth application accessible to NGB and state recruiters. The data was plotted in the Google Earth application using Keyhole Fusion software and KML code.

Worked as an environmental contractor conducting groundwater fate and and transport modeling, GIS mapping, groundwater and soil sampling, and conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. Used various different groundwater flow and transport finite element and finite difference modeling software (GroundwaterVistas, FEFLOW, MT3D99) for numerous projects. Used GIS software to produce figures for approximately seven environmental remedial investigation or litigation support projects and eleven modeling projects.

Conducted and/or supervised soil and groundwater sampling events at ISRA or RCRA environmental sites in New Jersey. Collected groundwater samples using EPA low-flow or conventional sampling techniques. Assisted with database entry and management and GIS mapping. Took a class at Rutgers on ArcView 3.2 GIS mapping software.
