Recently completed designing, planning and managing installation of an IT, security, and audio video infrastructure for a 250,000+ square foot headquarters campus relocation. This is a greenfield project requiring coordination with architects, general contractors, multiple vendors, and consultants.

Hands-on Network Administrator / Supervisor responsible for small Microsoft Active Directory network comprised of apporximately 15 HP servers, including Exchange 2010, VMWare ESX4, Cicso ASA 5505s connected via site-to-site VPNs, 2 HP iSCSI SANs and a NAS, 2 NEC phone systems, 150 desktops and Macs, hardware lifecycle management, IT procurement, and supervision of desktop support personnel.

Consulted with various SMBs in the DFW area about their IT needs. Performed daily maintenance on Windows servers, backups, Exchange servers, and offered various other technology related services, as needed, for managed service clients.

• Promoted to Voice Engineer in the telecommunications division to provide post-installation support and administration of Cisco Voice over IP phone system for 700 internal clients, as well as administration of CXM, Nice, and Zoom call-recording solutions and OPC Spitfire Predictive Dialer. • Planned for the migration to the VoIP phone system, and mapped out the schedule for the migration to ensure that business operations continued to run at full capacity.• Collaborated with outside vendors, building protocols, and policies to guarantee smooth migration to new systems.

Managed all aspects of IT needs including Windows 2003 Server, Exchange 2003, Windows XP, Office 2003, Outlook, network printing, etc. Installed and configured new ACT! Database and configured client connections.• Additional responsibilities included administration of Marketel Autodialer, management of keys and access badges, interfacing with building management, PC repair, and basic website maintenance using Dreamweaver. Basic Mac OS X troubleshooting.

Deployed new Windows XP workstations to Verizon employees throughout Texas. Heavy focus on PC imaging with Ghost, restoring network access, Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes configurations, as well as proprietary software installation and configuration.• Collaborated with management for the scheduling of the deployment of new products to the workforce.

Main responsibility involves assisting customers with network security issues related to Firewall-1/VPN-1 product line.Provided technical support on platforms including Sun Solaris 2.6 and 2.7, 2.8, Nokia VPN-1 Appliance (IPSO 3.2.x through 3.6.x), Windows NT 4, 2000 Server, and RedHat Linux.Supported all Check Point products such as VPN-1/Firewall-1, Meta IP, Provider-1, Floodgate, SecurePlatform, SecuRemote, and SecureClient.

Provided Premier and Alliance support for Small Business Server, Back Office Server, Cluster, Proxy Server, Terminal Services, RAS, RRAS, RIS, Directory Services, and related issues.
