I am a chartered Civil Engineer with approximately 20 years experience. I have recently joined forced with Liam McCaffrey to form a new Waikato based Civil Engineering consultancy called McCaffrey and Cable Consultants (MaCC).  I have experience working in consultancies and councils in New Zealand, the Pacific, and the UK. I am a chartered civil and roading engineer with a track record of team leadership and working with clients to solve problems. These are some specific things i bring to my role: 1. Leadership - I understand leadership and culture.  I’m continually improving my understanding of constructive workplace cultures and use this to grow team performance. 2. Geometrics and Roading - urban roads, rural roads, safety improvements, provide project reporting, and have experience with NZTA business case preparation.3. Civil construction - i can prepare civil contracts (NZS:3910),  evaluate tenders, write technical specifications, and monitor construction (NZTA Level 1 Eng Rep)4. Land Development - experience with design and construction monitoring of civil works for residential subdivisions, industrial site development, and transmission projects.5.  Project accountability - project financial control, scoping of works, delivery management, and communication.
