Areas of Practice Included: environmental regulatory compliance (including experience with the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, CERCLA, RCRA, foreign and international requirements, and others) and environmental litigation.Representative Experience: Evaluated various Federal and State regulatory and legislative strategies to combat climate change. Ensured compliance with domestic and foreign regulations concerning the sale and transport of products and chemicals. Researched and responded to EPA Clean Air Act Title V enforcement action. Assessed potential liability under CERCLA and RCRA for activities associated with shale gas extraction.

Prepared guidance regarding Commission’s jurisdiction over LNG terminals, offshore natural gas pipelines, and ocean-based hydroelectric generation facilities. Participated in strategy meetings concerning modified licensing procedures for wave energy pilot projects.

Managed Navy Region Southwest Environmental’s (NRSW) budget by promoting cost-saving initiatives and environmental stewardship. Made recommendations to standardize and streamline processes between installations and media groups. Trained NRSW staff in San Diego and at remote installations on databases and processes.
