After a 2 year day based secondment to the INEOS Projects Team as a Project Operations Coordinator, working on the Tigers, Rhino and Leyton projects, I semi retired in June 2020, taking on the role of Operations and Competency Coordinator with INEOS on a part time basis.I previously worked as a multi-rotational Manufacturing Technician, working at the top tier COMAH Ineos Oxides Ethyl Acetate (ETAC) Asset, located at Saltend Hull. In my current role I am able to provide cover for numerous operational roles including; Operations day Co-Ordinator and Shift Team leader, I am also able to rotate between the Control Room and Field Technician roles . I also run the vocational Qualification System for Ineos at their Hull site.Formerly employed by BP Chemicals for 23yrs, I have key skills in start up, commissioning, operation and troubleshooting of plant processes.I am a qualified D32/33 Assessor (NVQ/QCF/RQF) and a V1 Internal Verifier (NVQ/QCF/RQF) working alongside 4 qualified Assessors and have been solely responsible for the set up and continued running of the Ineos Hull vocational qualification system; this work involves regular contact with outside organisations such as the PAA\VQ-SET and HETA. I recently became the Centre coordinator for Ineos Hull site when the site was awarded centre recognititon with the PAA\VQSET (now GQA) awarding body.
