Joined Fleet Air Arm 31 May 1977 as a JNAM, employed mainly on Sea King (various Mks and roles) helicopters, early years on Wessex. Also completed "Mechs" (Artificers) course mid 1980's, reaching rate of CPOAEA(M) in 1991. Held position of SMR AED Mech workshops on x2 Invincible class aircraft carriers as well as shore based Mech workshops. Spent one year as a Instructor at HMS Sultan, Air Engineering School. Left service from RNAS Yeovilton early 2000

Work within AW-UK Product Support Engineering, the lead for a small team of RCM, Supportability, LSA Engineers and Tech Authors, responsible for and with the main objective of increasing Aircraft Availability, achieving this by reducing the perceived scheduled maintenance burden and related cost of ownership/through life costs! On a rotor craft which is utilised in many roles world wide...As of April 2015 - taking a break from Aerospace Engineering - finished work at AgustaWestland
