I am a development practitioner with over 20 years’ experience including 15 years managing teams of up to 35 members and budgets in excess of $200 million annually. I have a deep knowledge of development issues with specific expertise and interest in governance programming reflected in experience working as a governance advisor. I am a proponent of adaptive, politically informed, learning-as-you-go approaches to development and have a track record of successfully designing and implementing innovative interventions in a number of different contexts. I have worked at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for 15 years spending six years on long term postings to the Philippines and PNG. I am currently working with DFAT as a Director/Development Technical Advisor servicing Southeast Asia.
