About Geoff Orton

I love teaching and learning. Whether it is working with people to help them reach their goals or enriching my own understanding of the world, learning is the focus of my life and career.As a teacher, editor and consultant, I've dedicated myself to education for almost 20 years as a pedagogical leader and innovative user and developer of e-learning platforms. Recently, I completed the Master of Education (Online Learning Innovation) at Charles Sturt University and have helped build Victoria's first online private school at Haileybury Pangea. In 2013, I founded Writers Bloc, a publishing alternative for writers and was the Coordinator of the 2013-14 Younger Young Writers'​ program at the National Young Writers'​ Festival. The program won an award for being the Best Program for Young People in NSW.I'm looking for opportunities that will have a significant, lasting and positive impact on the learning of others. @geoffsopinions
