About Geoff Rich

I'm an Accredited Conservation Architect (AABC/RIBA-SCA) and Partner at Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios taking a leading role in heritage, creative re-use and regeneration projects, in the UK and internationally.I'm a member of Historic England’s Historic Places Panel, Chair of the Fabric Advisory Committee for Exeter Cathedral, and a former UK Design Council Expert. I'm also a Visiting Professor at the University of the West of England, and a regular guest lecturer at several universities including Harvard, Bath, Reading and Oxford Brookes. My interest in heritage and re-use has been informed by my international studies as a Winston Churchill Fellow, and as a Lethaby Scholar of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings. Recent projects include the regeneration of oldest iron-framed buildings in the world at Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings for Historic England, and the major renovation of Bath Abbey. Previous schemes include projects for Windsor Castle, Hampton Court Palace, The Roman Baths in Bath, and the regeneration of Middleport Pottery. International projects include work for National Museums of Ireland, the Tourist Burma Building (Yangon), Umm Qais (Jordan), and the Shashpul Caravanserai at Bamiyan (Afghanistan).I am Curation Lead for TEDxBath.
