Led a sizeable team of IT professionals including contractors and offshore. - Led the technology integration efforts for 3 major acquisitions – the acquisition of Smithfield Beef (2008), the acquisition of Five Rivers Cattle Feeding (2008) and the acquisition of Pilgrim’s Pride Chicken (2010).- Negotiated and directed the global implementation of SAP’s across the following modules: finance, general ledger, sales & distribution, advance planning and optimization, manufacturing, supply chain, warehousing, treasury & risk management, human resources and payroll. - Led the implementation of SAP for JBS’s Australia business thus creating a single global SAP instance - Directed the technology components for a start-up transportation/trucking subsidiary - Teamed with fellow business unit leaders to forge strong, sustaining partnerships which resulted in increased technology spending of nearly 50% once trust in IT was established and tangible business benefits were demonstrated. - Championed 4 key IT goals: keep the lights on, deliver projects on time, improve culture and meet budget targets.

Member of Siebel’s Automotive Product Oversight Committee. Sponsored and chaired Ford’s Community of Practice for Siebel.- Led the technology aspects of Ford’s Global Contact Centers (Customer, Dealer and Technician facing) with operations in the US, Canada, Mexico, Scotland and the Philippines. This included managing joint-venture and offshore 3rd party relationships.- Led Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) IT compliance efforts for Volvo Car Corporation in Sweden. This included documentation and risk scoring of security and controls for over 200 different applications across the entire business. Met twice-monthly with Volvo and Ford’s executive committees to report status on compliance efforts.- Led the global implementation of two different ERP project teams: Global HR PeopleSoft and PeopleSoft Benefits. Both projects were multi-year with teams in excess of 50 people and a multi-million dollar capital spend.- Directed the technology aspects of Ford’s multi-billion dollar annual healthcare operations including leading a coss-functional team that reduced healthcare cost by 20% over 2 years.
