I’m an experienced business executive with 30+ years’ experience leading a complex international business, developing brands, building and developing teams and organizations, and road-mapping innovative strategies to realize business goals.I have been in the sporting goods business for over 30 years, most recently serving as the President of PEARL iZUMi. I led the organization through a period of significant growth fueled by the implementation of new business strategies that included a new sales and distribution strategy, shifting e-commerce to the hub of the brand’s distribution approach, a brand repositioning process that aligned both B2B and B2C messaging, and assembling a new organizational structure to implement strategies that accelerates sales and profits. I eventually lead the company through a successful corporate sale from Shimano, our parent company, to a US-based sports specialty company in 2022. I founded Open Gate Advisors in 2023 to bring my collaborative style and business acumen to help companies grow.
