I am a construction practitioner and have extensive experience within the construction industry. I have a main contractor grounding and have also worked freelance successfully serving a broad ranging client base. I have been involved in the construction of a wide range of building and civil engineering projects including: - industrial units, offices, retail schemes, housing, roads, luxury apartments, schools, hospitals, a pharmaceutical manufacturing unit, a football stadium, roads and bridges, oil and gas refinery’s, underground, light and heavy rail, and a rowing lake to list a few. I have had responsibility for the management and construction of all elements of the various project works.My base qualifications comprise:BSc (Hons) in Quantity SurveyingLLM - Master of Laws - Construction Law and ArbitrationMBA - Master of Business AdministrationSpecialties: I have gained a wealth of experience and have been immersed throughout my career in alternative dispute resolution work in terms of negotiations, claims, adjudications, arbitrations and litigation support concerning delays, prolongation, extensions of time, disruption, negligence, liquidated damages, variations and final accounts. I have also recently been responsible for the formation and administration of a three person Dispute Adjudication Board under a FIDIC form of contract.
