Building, quoting and tendering for large value works and projet managing these to meet specifications, budget, safety and other project targets.- Manage external maintenance contracts such as line marking and guardrail including their budgets and all of its works for the Central Coast LGA on all roads at all levels (state, regional, local). Programming all works based on priority with sources coming in through maintenance requests, inspections, customer requests, traffic committee and projects. Collaboratively working with all external stakeholders (TfNSW, Customers), and internal stakeholders (project officers, asset inspectors) to build a works program to meet organisational targets.- Oversee the delivery of all Councils asset restorations required after works from utility suppliers and Councils Water and Sewer department. Ensure all assets are restored to Councils civil specifications and standard drawings within timeframes and budgets, reducing risks to the community and Council reputation.- Undertaking site safety inspections and work audits to ensure all contractors are working safely in line with current legislation and to the expectation of the Council and the public, whilst delivering works as requested and to specifications.- Work on strategic projects to allow the organisation to continually improve and grow in all areas.
