Work experience starts as an Electrician, a member of an engineering maintenance team that supplied support for heavy fixed plant and HV generation (sugar milling). 10 years Electrical contracting, followed by 25 years in Mining. I have experience in the supervision of teams and planning for mixed trade teams as well as maintaining the Maintenance systems for that processing plant. I spent 2 years as electrical projects officer for the Weipa Site as part of the engineering and design team. I expanded my experience by transferring to Boyne Island Aluminium Smelter as a multi trade planner and where I assisted with supporting the site SAP reporting and training superintendent. I returned to Weipa to assist the maintenance superintendent to set up reporting systems for the Andoom plant and provide training to the support team.The roles and experience I gained in the last 10 yeas included analysis of condition monitoring to set up maintenance programmes, Stakeholder engagement for improvement projects, Contract management with labour and material suppliers and to site, Commissioning of new and modified plant, Inspection of statutory compliance for the Queensland mines electrical requirement, Provision of SAP training and support for SAP maintenance programmes on site.
