As a CTE drone instructor at Davis School District, I have been engaging students in profession-based learning for over three years, providing them with relevant resume certifications and experiences that will prepare them for success beyond the classroom. I hold a Part 107 UAS Pilot Certificate issued by the Federal Aviation Administration, which enables me to teach students how to operate drones safely and legally in various scenarios and environments.I also have a strong background in STEM education and leadership, with a master's degree focused on technology integration from the American College of Education and a USBE certificate in Educational Leadership and School Administration from Utah State University. I have been a teacher at Davis School District since 2015 where I used different programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Project Management Tools to teach classroom concepts and support fellow employees with information on how to implement those programs. I have been recognized for being a strong team leader that uses innovative approaches when working to complete projects and provide excellent team leadership at all times. I have proven the ability to train and motivate new staff members, as well as to adapt to changing curriculum and technology needs. I am also a T3 Regional instructor for Texas Instruments and regularly attend and present at International, State, and Local Conferences.
