I founded the BETTA Group of Companies 18 years ago and have accumulated over 37 years of expertise.I started in the energy industry with energy leaders C.E.B, Capelec and Ergon Energy and now a number of my valued clients are Australian top 200 companies.Today the BETTA Group services the electrical, air conditioning, solar, demolition, asbestos hazard and high voltage industries for works of any scale. The BETTA Group is a safe, innovative and world class leader based in regional Queensland. We employ 60 valued local staff today, but we started out small in 2005 with Betta Lifestyles Electrical and Air Conditioning. We grew gradually with Betta Lifestyles, Betta Energy, Betta Demolition and Asbestos and Betta Power Services. In December 2020 I sold the Betta Group of Companies to Orcoda ASX Limited. I was then appointed General Manger of the Betta Group to run all the group operations. My KPI's were to meet Safety, Quality and EBITAR targets and to drive growth in the company. I gained a valuable insight into the running of an ASX Listed Company. I was appointed on the Board of Directors for Orcoda as well and resigned from the Board in February 2022. By June 2022, I had met and exceeded all operational targets that were given to me by Orcoda.I am now on extended long service leave for 12 months from the Betta Group of Companies to facilitate the running of the Pacific Energy Group Pty Ltd. This company has been in operation since 2008 and now has local companies in the Solomon Islands (Pacific Energy Group SI), Papua New Guinea (Pacific Energy Group PNG) and the Philippines (Pacific Energy Group PHI).The main focus of the company is to help and develop the renewable and sustainable energy needs of the South Pacific and Asia. Primarily focused on the High and Low Voltage Augmentation works to facilitate the grid and isolated connections of the Renewable Energy Power Sources and also carrying out the design, supply and construction of the Renewable Energy Power Sources.
