Conduct 2WD and 4WD dynamometer testing for various types of prototype and production vehicles. These vehicles include extended range Hybrid Electric, Electric only, Plug in HEV, HEV's, alternative fuel and conventional ICE vehicles. Provide test set-up, operation and test driving, design and construction of data acquisition equipment, electronic and electrical support for the group. Maintain Equipment Calibration Program and coordination of equipment maintenence. Conduct electrical inspections for NEC and NFPA 70 compliance. Compile monthly reports for IEPA Title V Air Permit.

Responsible for company OSHA compliance, laboratory organization and management, and calibration program.

Technical support and resource to the research and development group. Responsible for building research prototypes, including design and construction of circuit boards, testing and evaluation, ordering laboratory supplies and compiling final reports with necessary changes and improvements.

Installed and maintained electronic systems that included engine management, data acquisition and Motorola two-way communications systems. Attended test sessions and races to support electronics systems.

Designed, constructed, calibrated and modified Automated RF Test Equipment systems for cellular base stations, transceivers and circuit level testing for production use.
