A veteran Graphic Designer and Creative Artworker whose last roles over an almost 25 year period have encompassed many 'hats'​: Graphic Designer, Senior Artworker, Web Designer, Studio and I.T. Manager.Working currently for a South-East based furniture design and manufacture company, I am in sole charge of all the firm's graphic design, visual marketing, 3D visualisation needs, including motion graphics. In addition I providing CAD training and support to the sales team. I also manage the company's advertising and company website.My previous role was for a leading Central London-based manufacturer and distributor of branded promotional merchandise (approximate average annual turnover of £1m), I was in sole charge of all the firm's artworking needs which encompassed litho, screen and digital print as well as engraving, pad printing and embroidery.My role was to ensure that all artwork (which averaged c.60 jobs a week, originating from hundreds of different sources) was checked and modified to ensure compatibility with the planned method of production. In my time with the company, I succeeded in reducing the cost of reprinting jobs due to incorrect formatting of artwork by approximately 95%.Designing and artworking print projects in-house and for external agencies for a variety of brands, including BBC, Disney, Intel, Santander, Sky, RSPCA, EDF Energy, Burger King, Nationwide, Ikea, Guinness, ESPN, Virgin, NHS, Pimms, Tesco, Barclays, BAE Systems, RAC, British Museum, Vauxhall, Londis and NintendoWorked with Executive team at The Really Useful Group to develop enhanced licensed products for shows such as The Phantom of the Opera, CATS, Joseph and The Sound of Music. Estimated sales value of developed products in excess of £500,000.I have designed, administered and maintained the Company websites of my last 2 employers, reducing external web design and development costs to £0.
