A Noble & Son is Australia’s leading specialist provider of lifting and rigging equipment, technical services and engineering designs for complete solutions to heavy and complex lifting requirements.My role is to manage the Sales division across the Construction, Shipping, Mining, Oil and Gas, Utilities and Defence industries with sound development and meticulous management of budgets taking full responsibility of the P&L with a total sales budget of $53 million.Notable Achievements• Managed revised budget and built it per Business Unit (BU) per Branch per State making each BU more accountable for their performance, allowing more efficient financial performance tracking.• Reviewed company structure and roles to identify areas for improvement and introduced systems and processes for increased efficiency and reduced costs across business operations, leading the business to become sustainably profitable.• Development and implementation of tailored, customer focussed proposals which saw rationalised a database of 14,000 low value customers to 4,000 high value customers. This increased efficiency and enabled $1 million in cost reduction and grew share of wallet. • Development and creation of sales pipeline from zero to $53 million.• Development and implementation of new sales strategy to identify customer categories based on spend and potential to match services to customer needs. In this role I was responsible for managing a diverse range of clients across trucking, mining and infrastructure, waste, fleet lease and government sectors. Notable Achievements• Successfully managed sales budgets and consistently over-achieved sales targets (up to $180 million). In this role, I was responsible for managing the $60 million per annum National Fleet Lease for the Government and Mining sectors across Australia, ensuring all customer needs were attended to in line with company policy and KPIs.Responsibilities• Management of the National Fleet Lease for Government and Mining businesses in Australia (total turnover of $60 million per annum) with major clients including Lease Plan, ORIX, Custom Fleet, Fleet Partners, Rio Tinto and BHP.• Management and negotiation of major accounts across Australia and New Zealand, including client presentations, contract negotiations and relationship management. Notable Achievements • Mentored the Bridgestone Government Fleet Salespeople around Australia to help them better understand the Fleet business to maximise representation/market share and eventual profits.• Negotiated with the National Fleet Accounts to ensure increased profitability, satisfaction and improved relevance. Strategies included increasing product and service pricing and offering more realistic rebates. Results included an increase in profits of almost 10 per cent (in 2010) and growth of approximately 5 per cent over the following three years.• Achieved additional $5 million in revenue based on new business and increased revenue from existing clients.• Established effective succession planning and managed simpler transitions for all management positions (including National Fleet Sales Manager).

Open4inspection.com.au is an online real estate website and monthly glossy magazine developed for the South Australian market with national reach. I established the business and brought it into operation, partnering with major real estate agents to deliver a new, cutting edge experience for property buyers.Responsibilities• Establishment, development and marketing of an online real estate magazine for metropolitan Adelaide, a national real estate website and a weekly on-line magazine.• Design and development of the first real estate weekly on-line magazine portal, delivered to a database of XXX on a weekly basis.Notable Achievements• This portal transformed and modernised the industry, providing significant cost savings to previous methods of real estate advertising.• Developed an alliance with independent newspapers across Australia to re-badge their real estate sections to ‘open4inspection.com.au’.
