As a Director with First West Capital, I am responsible for commercial lending deal origination and execution, investment analysis, and ongoing management of a portfolio of private Canadian corporate middle-market clients.First West Capital provides commercial lending including but not limited to subordinated, mezzanine, venture debt, and unitranche structures to growing and transitioning companies that have proven cash flow. We support changes of ownership (strategic acquisitions, management buy-outs and buy-ins, shareholder buy-outs, etc.), refinancings, growth financing, and high leverage owner-occupied real estate investments. We also support other loan types such as, capital call lines, net asset value (NAV) lending, and other bespoke lending needs requiring creative structuring.
