I always had a different answer when someone asked," what do you want to be when you grow up?" or , "what are you going to major in at college?" Guidance counselors pulled their hair out trying to prepare me for the day when I would have to pick just one thing to be good at for the rest of my life. I imagine that Bob Childs faced the same thing but he didn't compromise and now practices and teaches psychology and is a master violinmaker.I didn't either and finished college with a BS in Psychology with a minor in Biology and a BA in Sociology with a minor in Anthroplogy. After college I founded and ran a successful graphic design and website design businesses for over a decade before selling the businesses to split my time between working for my church in media production and working with my wife teaching martial arts.I am currently working on a Masters in Applied Psychology to combine my passion for helping businesses grow and my passion for helping people grow. Who says you have to pick just one thing?
