Since starting work at PTG in 2001 as a laborer cleaning machines and cleaning floors, I progressed to loading machines and learning to run the machines. Then my role changed and I got my forklift license that year and learned to work in the stores checking out stock, loading, and unloading deliveries. Maintained a safe and clean work environment, study drawings set up and operate machine tools such as grinders to cut grind and shape to prescribe dimensions. My main role I spent 8 years in was PTG workholding in this job my main responsibility’s reading technical drawings assembly of bespoke components of different assembly’s. I have performed quality checks on products and parts before they were shipped to customers around the world with great response.
